So this is probably the lowest savings percentage I posted in a while.  This is because this was a test shopping trip.  It looked like the double coupons were only for health and beauty products.  However, the exact wording wasn’t exactly clear and I needed to test if you could spend $15 on health and beauty and have other coupons double.  Because if that was the case, I would have a ton more awesome deals to share with you all!  Unfortunately, only the health and beauty coupons doubled. 🙁  But knowing is half the battle, so I know where to focus my attention when writing up more deals!

So once again tonight I ventured out to Kmart, and like last night, once again I emerged victorious with much Phat Loot!  The strategy I approached this trip with emerged mostly in-tact.  Some previous loot horders had cleared the shelf of the 10OZ bottles of Vaseline, but I got an upgrade to a 20.3oz bottle to aid in my mission.  And the register monster thought it might dispute my claim of the Vaseline coupon, but it was thwarted by a friendly guard from the land of customer service!  So I emerged with my reward fairly unscathed, all things considered!

Kmart shopping is always an adventure.  Four the fourth time this week I walked into a Kmart and tonight was the first time I actually walked out with anything!  Not one of my trips to Kmart were derailed by items being out of stock.  The first two trips had various errors, from beeping coupons to incorrect prices on items.  Last night I went in and had a new problem, apparently the Kmart I was at was having problems with Shop Your Way being down.  My transaction planned was the exact one I did tonight, and given how many points I earned I’m glad I waited.  I’ve often said “At Kmart be prepared for something to go wrong.”

Tonight’s trip wasn’t a totally smooth one either, although the hiccups mostly worked out in my favor.  I have no idea where the extra $5 in points for “K BEAUTY CARE” came from, but I’m not going to complain.  Also after they scanned my “$5 Back in Points when you Spend $25 Kmart Coupon” all of a sudden the register refused to scan any more coupons.  There was quite a line behind me as they tried to figure it out and the other lines were backing up as well, so they ended up putting in all my coupons manually.  But hey, any trip that involves me walking out with 30 Double rolls of TP + other stuff and spending less than $10 bucks is a win in my book!
