We’ve told you about Facebook class action lawsuit settlements in the past, but now we have another one that is brand spanking new! Through 8/11/23, there is a Facebook (Meta) Location Services Class Action Lawsuit Settlement. This one is for folks that had the Facebook app and had turned off location services in the app on their Android or iOS device between the dates of 1/30/15 and 4/18/18. Additionally, the lawsuit settlement that alleges that Facebook shared user data and users’ friends data without permission of the users whose data was shared, and did not sufficiently monitor third-party access and use of that data is also still available for claims. You have until 8/25/23 to stake a claim in that one. It is for US Facebook users that had accounts between 5/24/07 and 12/22/22. This is due to them calling folks in the National Do Not Call Registry. You should check your phone number even if you never registered, because the previous owner of your phone number may have put you on the list.
