Senior Citizen Discounts

Senior Discounts List – Almost 50 Ways to SAVE on Hotels, Restaurants, Movie Tickets, Air Travel, Car Rentals & More!

Are you one of our “seasoned citizens?” We have a terrific list of senior discounts for you below. Just for achieving a certain age milestone, there are companies that are willing to give you extra discounts if you ask. Whether it’s groceries, hotels, restaurants, car rentals, retail or entertainment, there are savings to be had, so don’t leave any free money (well…savings) on the table. Also, in addition, make sure you check out your state and/or local government web sites for departments dealing with aging. For example, I grew up in Ohio and there the state’s Department of Aging administers a senior savings program called the Golden Buckeye Card. This program offers lots of extra savings for folks, particularly at businesses that aren’t big national chains and don’t appear on the list before. Whether it’s the corner donut shop, a small local restaurant, or the neighborhood bowling alley, make sure you ask and there may be a discount waiting for you.

Senior Citizen Discounts

One thing you will definitely want to do is sign up for an AARP membership. Many of the discount programs listed below will ask for an AARP membership card. If you’re 50 years or older, you can join. You can pay as little as $9 per year if you sign up for a five year membership. Also, we have listed some of the most popular AARP senior discounts below, but check out this page for even more AARP discounts for seniors.

Now let’s get to the senior discounts. Here are some national (and large regional) chains of travel, grocery and retail companies that offer senior citizen (and almost senior citizen) discounts:
