Did You Know? Coinstar Charges ZERO FEES with eGift Card Option (INCLUDING Amazon!)

Have you been accumulating change for a while and you want to put it to good use? With the current inflationary environment, that money you’ve been stashing in a piggy bank (or under couch cushions) is rapidly losing purchasing power. Here’s a great solution I’ve stumbled upon…

I’ve never used a Coinstar machine, because I’ve always though the fees were insane for simply counting and disposing of coins. However, I was just at the Coinstar web site and noticed that they have a zero fee option available. If you choose to redeem your coins for an eGift card instead of cash, you can get off the hook without paying any fees whatsoever!

There are lots of great options available, including Home Depot, AMC, Starbucks, Lowe’s, Southwest Airlines and lots of restaurants. However, my favorite option is the Amazon eGift Card. Prime Day is coming on 7/12 and 7/13. What a great way to put that spare change to good use!

You can find a local Coinstar kiosk here. And in case you’re wondering, we have no relationship with Coinstar whatsoever. We didn’t receive a dime for sharing this with you.
