My mother received another $10/$50 coupon at the end of her receipt last Sunday, so I put together a trip for her. The St. Ives body wash deal is probably the best deal in the ad, but I don’t have enough coupons left for both of us, and I got a $2/$6 body wash/bar soap coupon from the Red Coupon Machine, so I am going to get the deal on my card. I still managed to get her some stellar deals with products she and my father will use (unlike last week’s cosmetic deals, which are destined to become stocking stuffers for their granddaughters next Christmas). Please note that the Simple coupon has a limit of two per shopping trip, but not a limit of two per day. I got four Simple products in the morning, then returned in the late afternoon to buy two additional Simple products to complete the promotion.
My mother’s card:

Note: To get this deal, you need a coupon-friendly cashier to ring up a wipe first and a cleanser second for each set (I think that’s what she did anyway because the wipes are full price on my receipt). The wipes are free with the coupon, and you want to be sure the wipes ring for full price and the cleanser for half price. Also, the BOGO 50% sale will take 50% off the lowest price item in a set, so the cleanser and wipes have to be the same regular price. I saw at one local CVS that the cleansers were $8.29 and the wipes were $6.49. I would not have been able to get the deal in that store. I went to a store where the wipes and cleansers are both regularly priced $7.79.
Note 2: If you get the $4/$14 facial care CVS coupon, note that it does not include facial wipes, so I bought a clearanced facial product to have enough to use the CVS $4/$14 facial coupon in my first Simple transaction when I bought two wipes and two cleansers. I used the $1/1 printable CVS coupon in the second transaction when I bought one wipe and one cleanser.

Note: Both bags had a sale sign for BOGO 50%, but they rang up full price for each. The second store I checked did not have sale tags, so I think the store I bought them in had not pulled old sale tags. I didn’t notice until I was typing the trip, but my father eats these, and I don’t want to deal with a return, so I am just chalking this up to a lesson learned (scan all UPCs at the kiosk to verify a sale).
Beauty Club Extrabucks: This week, she bought $53.03 in products that qualify for Beauty Club (get $5 Extrabucks for every $50 spent on qualifying products). You may recall that she had $47.85 toward the Beauty Club last week, but since she didn’t break $50 last week, I did not give her credit for Beauty Bucks. With last week and this week combined, she earned $100.88 toward the Beauty Club and will receive $10 Extrabucks in a few days, so I am giving her the $10 credit in this trip. The extra $10 is factored into the final tally along with the $10 from the $10/$50 total order coupon (an extra $20 for the trip in addition to coupons, Extrabucks, and rebates listed with the items purchased).
Retail value: $155.45
Net price paid (not including tax): $7.26 profit
Savings Rate: 104.7%
